The Bucharest Surroundings Tour is tailored for those who seek some quiet, quality time, discovering both religious and cultural places full of history!
The tour starts in Bucharest along Victoriei Avenue, one of the major avenues in central Bucharest and a symbol of the Romanian cultural prosperity between the World Wars. The first stop will be a visit at Snagov Monastery, followed by Mogosoaia Palace.
Located on an island on Lake Snagov, Snagov Monastery is a place of peace and solitude where time seems to have stopped. Here is the final resting place of Vlad the Impaler, better known as Dracula.
Mogosoaia Palace, just 15 kilometers outside Bucharest, is a masterpiece of the Romanian architectural style – Brancovenesc – born from a combination of Venetian and Oriental elements and it was built between 1698 and 1702.
