Winter has passed, the sun is up and the blooming trees invite us to start planning our vacations. Romania gives the start for the summer season on May 1st and we have prepared a list of some of the most stirring events that will, once more, prove the diversity of our country.
- April 25th -26th – Bucharest – “Custom Wheels”
Dozens of motorcycles, cars and bicycles will be showcased for their looks, craftsmanship and story. Our purpose is not to organize “just another motorcycle show”, but to offer our viewers an experience that will inflict the “custom fever”, bring forth creativity and make them dream of their own builds. The event is not solely dedicated to the connoisseurs. At the same time, we want to attract the audience fed up with standardization, to make them embrace customization and craftsmanship in any form. Our purpose would be met if, after the event, our visitors would leave determined to start their own creation, embracing the phrase “Built, not bought!”.
On the Black Sea shore, the 17th edition of the electronic dance music festival Sunwaves sets the start to a wonderful summer! Carl Cox, Ricardo Villalobos, Marco Carola, Tale Of Us and many others will share their creation from 6 different stages, on a beach full of beautiful people.
- May 8th– 10th – Bucharest – East European Comic Con
Taking place at Romexpo, the event aims to bring together all those who love Comic books, movies, TV series, Sci-Fi and fantasy, Japanese culture, amine, manga, boardgames, trading card games and last but not least, technology. This year, Bucharest will be visited by the actors playing characters such as Hodor (“Game Of Thrones”), Deathstroke (“Arrow”), Walter Bishop (Fringe), T-Bag (Prison Break), Kevin Tran (Supernatural) and Strax (Doctor Who), as well as youtubers like VSauce and many others.
- June 5th-7th ; June 11th– 14th – Bucharest – Classical music
Hearing live music is one of the most pleasurable experiences available to human beings. Andre Rieu, the Dutch violinist and conductor best known for creating the waltz-playing Johann Strauss Orchestra, will be delighting our ears with his heart-warming music. We invite you to waltz into the Constitution Square to witness the performance of one of the most successful violinists in history.
- July 17th – Bucharest – Robbie Williams
“Let me entertain you” tour will bring, for the first time in Romania, the English singer-songwriter, Robbie Williams. Once more, Constitution Square will hold the stage for one of the greatest artists of our time and we invite you all to an unforgettable show.

Cluj-Napoca is the second most populous city in Romania and as of 2015, the European Youth Capital. This year, the city will host the UNTOLD Festival, 4 days and 4 nights full of magic, sound and image. Artists from all over the world will perform on no less than 10 stages, the list revealing names like Avicii, David Guetta, Armin van Bureen, John Digweed and many, many others.
